| Sim
Schedule:
Sims
will be completed on Tuesdays and Fridays. Lineups must be
submitted before the 10 a.m. deadline. Sims may also be held on
Sundays. Notification of this will occur on the Thursday
before. Lineups for Sunday are to be submitted before the 4 P.M.
deadline. Also, the sim may not be conducted at the same time
every sim as work and other priorities take precedence. The sim
will take place during the sim day, however, it may not occur until
the evening or late afternoon. The roster deadline remains the
same however.
Trading
Procedure:
Trades
may begin after spring training and up until the trade deadline.
Any trades submitted after the deadline and prior to the completion of
spring training will be null and void. ( THE GAME DOES NOT ALLOW
TRADES DURING THIS TIME). All
trades must be submitted by all owners involved. An email is to be
sent to the commissioners office from each team confirming the
trade. If one team does not submit a confirming letter, the
trade will not be processed. Trades also adhere to the lineup deadlines, all trades submitted afterwards will be processed
before the next sim. Include in all trade email information
regarding personnel assignment (ACT, AAA, LOW). Also, with so
many last names that are the same, it is also now required to submit a
players FULL name so that all correct players are traded.
Also, any amateur draft picks that are traded must be stated so that
the year is shown as well. (TRADE NEGOTIATIONS MAY OCCUR ALL SEASON, BUT MAY ONLY BE SUBMITTED
DURING THE ABOVE TIMES). Roster
Movement and Waivers During the Season:
1. Player movement between Act and AAA is unlimited.
2. Player movement from LOW to Act or AAA is allowed at any
time (obviously there must be room)
3. Player movement from Act or AAA to LOW (within the same team):
a) Player must be 26 years or younger
b) Player must be released for 1 sim.
c) During this time the player must clear waivers.
d) Waiver order is the same as the draft order.
e) If the player clears waivers they may be put in LOW minors (obviously there must be room).
Roster
Movement after FA Signings and Trades: a)
Players can be placed in ACT or AAA freely (obviously there must be room).
b) Players can be placed in LOW freely as long they are under 26 years of
age (obviously there must be room). Roster
Movement Exemptions:
After the season is complete, players are allowed to be moved into any
of the three levels of play. Once spring training is complete,
the waiver rule comes back into effect.
Amateur
Draft: The
SCBL is committed to ensuring that players coming out of the amateur
draft are quality players. Spring
Training: The
SCBL encourages it's owners to submit spring training
allocations. An owner however, may request that the pc do the
allocations for a team. Remember however, that the pc does not
perform this duty well and is really a poor substitute for human
allocations. Once spring training has been performed, all
increases and or decreases are final.
